Mrs. Alease Braxton Bolling, age 78 of Brookneal, departed this life on August 21, 2022 in Charlottesville, Virginia.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. James Braxton and Mrs. Laura Anderson Braxton.

She leaves to cherish her memory her four children, Benson (Denise), Patricia (Clyde), Regina and Roger; six grandchildren, Tremel, Devin, Lauryn, Aaron, and Steve; one devoted granddaughter, Carmelia (Deshawn); three great grandchildren, DaShawn, Sha'Niya, and Aubree; one sister, Mary; two devoted friends, Dan B. and Maricca Jones; an ex husband, Dewy; and a host of other relatives and friends.
