Alexander Namon Jennings, (aka Pike), was born on March 19, 1961 in Charlotte County, Virginia. He was the oldest of four children, born to the late Namon Jennings and surviving mother, Mary Jennings-Jones.

He was preceded in death by his father, Namon Jennings; sister, Karen Jennings; and brothers, James Jennings and Byron Jennings.

Pike married Karen Harris, from this union they had two children, Christina Jennings and Alexander Ken Jennings; nine grandchildren, Montavia Booker, Ashanti Smith, Tysha Smith, Sincere Mathews, Jeremiah Carr, Jaquan Jennings, Isaiah Jennings, Mya Jennings, and Savannah Jennings; three great grandchildren, Cameron Booker, Camiyah Booker, and Carter Booker; three nieces, Ariana Jennings, Shadae Bailey, Mariah Bailey; aunt, Ruby Shuford; and a host of cousins and other relatives.
