Mrs. Alice Barrett Anderson, age 100 of Phenix, Virginia, passed away on July 14, 2026 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Isaac Coles Barrett and Ellie Bates Barrett.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Anderson; siblings, Robert, Everette, William, Beatrice, Blane, James and Ruth; and nephew, Bernard Barrett.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy White; granddaughter, Shannon Frank; and great grandson, Julius "Ju Ju" Pannell; niece, Myra Waller (Lenny), and a very devoted niece, April Walker (Fred); and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
