Mr. Anderson Morgan Dalton, age 85 of Altavista passed away on December 31, 2020.  He was the son of the late Mr. Thomas Columbus Dalton and Mrs. Lena Eans Dalton  and was married to the late Mrs. Doris Winston Dalton.

He was a former employee of H. K. Porter, now Delta Star and a retiree of English, Inc.  He was a member of Lambs United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Dean Dalton (Lisa) of Altavista;  two daughters, Melody Clark (David) of Roanoke and Pamela Pillow (Bobby) of Altavista; grandchildren, David Moore, Kasha Moore, Rachael Dalton, Jonathan, Jay Pillow, and April Gillispie; nine great grandchildren, Madalyn, David "Bubbie", Brayden "Little Man", Aurora, Abel, Alijah, Christian, Addison, and Olivia; one brother, Junior Dalton of Newport News; his best friend, Ronnie Hall; and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Reuben, Clyde, and Burton Dalton.
