Andrew James Miller, age 71 known as "Tender Feet" departed his life on October 5, 2017 in Lynchburg.l. He was born on May 11, 1946 in Halifax County. He was the son of the late Mr. James Miller and Mrs. Louise Miller.

He joined the Millstone Baptist Church at an early age. He was educated in Halifax County Public Schools. He was employed by Griffin Pipe Company in Lynchburg for twenty-nine and a half years.

He was united in holy matrimony to Gloris Miller on July 2, 1988.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife Mrs. Gloris Miller of Long Island; two step-sons, Larry Jones (Nina) and Christopher Jones (Barbara), all of Gretna, VA; a devoted granddaughter, Tiara Logan of Nathalie, VA; thirteen devoted step-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Miller (Linda) of Nathalie, VA and Willie Lee Miller of South Boston, VA; two sisters, Lottie Hubbard (Clyde of Nathalie, VA    and Margaret Brown of Charlottesville, VA; devoted brother-in-law, Clyde Lee Hubbard; three aunts, Norine Sanitgo of FL, Sylvia Adams of Florida and Clara Smith  of Richmond, VA; one uncle, Joe Adams of Washington, DC; sisters-in-law, Bessie Johnson (Tracey) of Detroit, MI, Dorothy Davis (Willie) of Nathalie, VA, Tracey Clark and Loretta Boyd of South Boston VA; brothers-in-law, Claude Boyd (Sally) of Nathalie, VA, Larry Boyd (Fannie) of Gladys, Garry Boyd of Roxboro, NC; devoted friends, Harry Cleveland Davis, James Wilson, Joseph Jones and Kenneth Black; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Miracle Revival Holiness Church in Long Island with interment in the church cemetery.
