Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Hartman, age 68 of Richmond, formerly of Gladys, passed away on March 8, 2022 in Richmond. She was the daughter of the late Mr. St. John Burford and Mrs. Myrtle Wade Burford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William Archer and Lillie Ann Burford; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Noisa Younger Wade; and her first husband, James Davis, Jr.

Ann was a Certified Nursing Assistant where she provided companionship and loving care to patients in the nursing home and private care settings.

She is survived by three children, James C. Davis (Lakeyta) of Pittsburg, PA, Lakeysheia Davis Jones (Stanley) of Navarre, FL and Don M. Hartman (Misty) of Evington, VA; eight grandchildren, Jazmine, Zamir, Z'Kiyah, Darius, Zeaven, Ja'Myia, La'Nyia, and Jeremiah; two great-grandchildren, Gianna and Terriell, Jr; sister, Rosalind Canada (Alfred) of Richmond, VA; four brothers, William Burford (Brenda) of Hinesville, GA, Dennis Burford (Mildred) and John Burford (Annie), all of Richmond Hill, GA and David Burford of Greensboro, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Ann is also survived by her husband, Don Hartman.
