Mr. Anthony Arthur Dunkley, age 68 of Gladys, passed away on May 12, 2023 in Lynchburg. He was the son of Mary Younger Dunkley and the late Anthony Dunkley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Dunkley; sister, Lillian Daniels; daughter, Tshana Yuille; grandmothers, Lillian Smith and Flora Dunkley; devoted friend, Roosevelt Jimmy Goode.

He is survived by his wife, Homasel Dunkley of Gladys, Virginia; daughter, Marcee Jones Woodson (Tim); two sons, Michikeo Yuille (Kita), Antonio Yuille (Danielle); eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren, Edward Jackson, III, Jayceon Jackson, Karmeya Jackson, and Noah Jackson, who looked like him and had his personality of his grandfather; two sisters, Barbara Yuille and Nancy Hamlette, both of Brookneal, Virginia; two aunts, Alice Harris of Alexandria, Virginia and Rosa Buster, 103 years of life, of South Boston, Virginia; six brothers-in-law; seven sisters-in-law; special friends, John Scott, Will B. Samuel Adams, Ralph Adams, Eugene Yuille, Eddie Hancock and Isaiah Payne; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
