Arthur "Huck" Johnson, age 79 of Pamplin, passed away on March 24, 2026 at his residence. He was the son of the late William Lewis Johnson and Arlene Morton Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Johnson, Van Johnson, and Kevin Johnson; and sister, Martha Hancock.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Johnson, whose devoted care and compassion remained with him until his final days, and a devoted sister-in-law, Barbara D. Johnson; four children, Keith (Cheree), Robert (Evelyn), Tarsha (David) Roshanda (Clayton), adopted daughters, Cynthia and Phil; host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; five siblings, William (Shirley), Linda (Anthony), Debbie, Renee, and Darryl; loyal companion, Bruno; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
