Mr. Arthur Lee Organ, Sr. age 87 of Altavista entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 16, 2026. He was the son of the late Mr. Emory Organ, Sr. and Mrs. Minnie Clark Organ.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Robertson Organ of Altavista; his children, Arthur Organ, Jr. (Sharon) of Knightdale, NC, Rose O. Crews of Richmond, VA, Coretta Organ (James Luckey) of Woodbridge, VA, and Timothy Organ (Joni) of Lynchburg, VA; sisters, Lena Crews, Audrey Payne and Marilyn Bailey (Warren), all of Altavista, VA, and Carolyn O. Barksdale of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Shelita Baker (Marcus), Alexandria Organ, Noah Luckey, Isaiah Luckey, Jared Crews, Vanessa Crews, Charlie Boyd, Katerine Burnham (Colby), and Caroline Gee (Garrett); four great grandchildren, Emma Grace, Elora, Isabella and Samora; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
