Mrs. Augusta Mae Davis age 88 of Pamplin, passed away on February 7, 2023 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Deacon Ike and Lillie Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hanable Broadwater "Robert"; son Robert Lewis Broadwater; daughter, Cynthia Marie Broadwater Hall; six brothers, Winston, Jimmy, Frank, Burrell Lee, Ronald and Cal Davis; three sisters, Alice Payne, Margaret Broadwater, and Julia Ann Davis.

She leaves to mourn three sons, William Davis (Adream) of Appomattox, Gregory Broadwater (Catherine), and Tyrone Broadwater (Theresa), both of Lynchburg; two daughters, Lershunder Broadwater and Angela Broadwater, both of Pamplin; twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Jenny Davis of Queens, NY, Mae Harmon of Clarks Hill, South Carolina and Anne Griffin of Augusta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
