Barry Norvell Martin, age 62 of Halifax, Virginia, passed away on March 9, 2026 in Richmond, Virginia. He was the son of Norman Randolph Martin and Emma Jane Bailey-Martin.

He was preceded in death by other loving relatives, including his younger brother, Norman "Marty" Martin; his maternal grandparents, Kathleen and Wille "Butch" Bailey; and paternal grandparents, Martha Watson and Cedric Martin.

Barry is survived by his parents, Jane Bailey-Martin of Halifax, Virginia and Randy Martin of Alexandria, Virginia; devoted aunts, Kathy Bailey -Sumlin, Sherry Bailey, Amy Bailey-Chandler, Delores Miller (Rev. Anthony Miller), and Gladys Massenburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.
