Bernard Boyd, Sr. age 75 of Nathalie, passed away on August 31, 2025 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Richard Thornton Boyd and Annie Maude Jennings Boyd.

Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter, Breanna Michelle Boyd; five brothers, Leroy, Louis, Willie Lee, Roger, and Richard  Thomas; and one sister, Annie Margaret Miller.

Bernard leaves to mourn four sons, Jerry Boyd (Crista) of Canton, Ohio, Bryan Boyd (Krista), Bernard Boyd, Jr. (Tiffany), both of Lynchburg, and Aric Boyd of North Carolina; one daughter, Christina Williams (Edwin) of Lynchburg, VA; sixteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence Boyd of Nathalie; two sisters, Minnie Clark of Nathalie and Melissa Hopkins of Jamaica, NY; a devoted niece, Martha Coles; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
