Bernice Adel Bradley, age 88 of Gladys, passed away on February 18, 2026 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late George Calloway and Hester Mary Gilbert  Monroe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Bradley; daughters, Virginia Mae Vassal and Bonnie Gayle Bradley; and sister, Gracie Monroe.

Bernice is survived by her children, Walter Lee Bradley, Frances Ernestine Vassal, Stafford Edmond Bradley, a devoted daughter, Linda S. Morris and Jeanette Palmer; grandchildren, Georgia Robinson, Sharon Younger (Timothy), Fonda Dandridge, Teresa Bradley, Stacy Adams (Cornelius), a devoted, granddaughter, Amy Bradley (Kalman Parker) of the residence, Kenneth Bradley (Donte'), Leon Morris, Jr., Constance Johnson (Timothy), Reanette Bradley, Vernon Vassal, Jr., Sara Broggin, Stephanie Morris, and Nicole Bradley; twenty-nine great grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren; her sister, Phyllis Monroe; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
