Betty Lou Dwiggins Moore of Nathalie, VA, born to the late Gene and Mary Lee Crosby on September 9, 1939, went home to be with Jesus on July 1st, 2021 at the age of 81.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Crosby and sister, Agnes "Tee" Lester.

She is survived by her children: Floyd "Gene" Dwiggins (Ann) of San Antonio, TX and Dena Bomar (Mark) of Nathalie VA; stepdaughter, MeChelle Moore Pollard (Mike) of Brookneal, VA; three grandsons, Nicholas Dwiggins and Nicholas Brunotte (April) of San Antonio TX, and Joshua Brunotte (Miki) of Nagoya, Japan; four great-grandchildren, Ryli Dwiggins, Caleb Kreitel, Addison Brunotte, and Kent Brunotte; two sisters, Corina "Sue" Williamson (Bob) of Hurt, VA and Dorothy Border of Boone, NC; sister-in-law, Claudine Crosby of Culpepper, VA; and a host of  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her children would like to recognize and thank Tara Francis of Sentara Hospice of South Boston and the entire staff of Heritage Hall Rehabilitation and Health Care of Brookneal for their compassion and professional care of our mother in her final days.

There will be no formal service; however, a celebration of life will be held later. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
