Bobby Jene Lloyd, age 85 of Nathalie, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Piney Forest Rehab Facility in Danville, Virginia.  Born April 21, 1936 in Halifax County, he was the son of the late James Ralph Lloyd and Flossie Cook Lloyd.

Bobby was retired from Thomasville Furniture and was a tobacco farmer.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener.  He won many trophies for coon hunting which he did for many years.  He had an infectious laugh that his family will remember fondly.

Mr. Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Mann Lloyd and daughter-in-law, Debbie Dodson Lloyd.

Bobby is survived by five children, Daphne King of Nathalie, Ricky Lloyd of Volens, Pam Evans of Scottsburg, Sandy Lloyd and wife, Wanda of Gretna, Bobby Dale Lloyd and wife, Sharon of Nathalie; eight grandchildren, Jason Davis, Melissa Dinges, Stephanie Henry and husband, Phillip, T. J. Lloyd, Leslie Bray, Jonathan Lloyd, Anthony Davis and wife, Bre, Laura LaFrance and husband, Jacob, Jacob Evans, Zach Evans and wife, Kristen; and twelve great grandchildren; and one sister, Catherine Allen and family.
