Mr. Calvin Douglas Hancock, Jr. age 30 of Phenix, known as "C.J." passed away on October 12, 2021, in Phenix. He was the son of Calvin Hancock, Sr., and Rochelle Evans Hancock.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mrs. Shirley Hancock, Mr. Wilbert Hancock, Mr. Joseph Evans;  his devoted cousin,Daniel Evans; and best friend, ShaRone Jackson, Ta'lynn's godfather.

He is survived by his parents, Rochelle Hancock and  Calvin Hancock, Sr. of the home; daughters, Ta'lynn Heath, Trinity Hancock,  and Alicia Hancock; one son, Tabari Hancock;  mothers of his children, Jennifer Troutman, and Aulbrey Heath; grandmother, Isabell Evans; godparents, Cathy and Gerome Jackson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and other relatives.
