Mrs. Carrie E. Scott, age 81, of Lynchburg, passed away on July 20, 2022 in Farmington Hills, Michigan.  She was the daughter of the late Synethia C. Elliott and James Coleman. She was the wife of the late John Willie Scott.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Synethia Scott.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Chandra S. Lewis of Farmington Hills, Michigan; granddaughter, Cydney of Farmington Hills, MI;  her cousins who she grew up with who were like siblings, Dorthula H. Hurt, Mary S. Smith and Synethia Hubbard, all of East Orange, New Jersey; half brother, Gene Tweedy of Lynchburg; brother-in-law, Charlie Scott (Alice) of Lynchburg; three sisters-in-law, Edna S. Smith of Lynchburg, Flora Randolph of Phenix, and Delores Scott of Red House; and a host of other relatives and friends.
