Ms. Chandra Denise Brown, age 49 of Gladys, passed away on June 27, 2022 at her residence. She was the daughter of Patricia A. Brown and the late William Edward Brown, Sr.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, William E. Brown, Jr.; grandfather, Isaiah M. Payne; and grandmother, Irene Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Akeiba and Aahliyah Halloway, both of Lynchburg; two granddaughters, Ahmirra and Aunnesty Christian; devoted mother, Patricia A. Brown of Gladys; grandmother, Helen A. Payne of Gladys; nieces, Alysha Brown and Lauryn Tweedy; uncles, Robert L. Brown of Evington, and Isaiah M. Payne (Jeanette)of Gladys; aunts, Virginia Haley (George) of Gladys, Catherine Payne of Gladys, Adelene Organ of Rustburg, Brenda Yuille (Eugene) of Naruna, Evelyn  M. Payne of Gladys, Rebecca Brown of Altavista and Deloris Palmer of Gladys; and two friends, Wesley Carter and Jeffrey Halloway; and a host of other relatives and friends.
