Charles Edward Hubbard, "Bro" age 77 of Nathalie, passed away on April 11, 2026 at his residence. He was the son of the late Willie Carroll Hubbard, Sr. and Geneva Shipp Hubbard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Ann Hubbard; uncles, George Edward Hubbard, James Richard Hubbard, Joe Allen Hubbard and Ben Hubbard, Howard Shipp, Charlie Shipp, William Shipp, Robert Shipp, and Frank Shipp; aunts, Nancy Snowden, Mamie Thaxton, and Mildred Hubbard; brother-in-law, Willie Womack; and sister-in-law, Janis Younger Hubbard.

Those left to cherish his memories are his devoted siblings, Ellen H. Womack of Portsmouth, OH, Mary H. Pannell (Herbert) of Long Island, Virginia, Willie Carroll Hubbard, Jr. "Skeeter" and Frank Howard Hubbard  "Buck" (Rose), both of Nathalie, Virginia; aunt, Carrie Ross of Newark, NJ; two uncles, John Lee Hubbard of Brookneal, Virginia and James Shipp "Jimmy Lee" of Portsmouth, OH; devoted friend, James Farmer "Jimmy"; cousin, David Scott; nieces and nephews, Shernita Reeves (Kelvin), Keri Pannell, Brandon Hubbard, Kevin Hubbard and Crystal Alexander (Demetrius), and Cecelia Gaines; and a host of other relatives and friends.
