Mr. Charlie Lewis Scott, age 87 of Randolph, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 in Durham, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Whitfield Scott, Sr. and Susie Venable Scott.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Willie Nelson Scott, Andrew Scott and Reverend James E. Scott; sisters, Mary Scott-Grant, Ortee Elizabeth Clark, and Rebecca Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel W. Scott of Randolph; three children, Barbara J. Anderson of Culpepper, Gail Scott of Waldorf, Maryland and Carla Y. Beckward (William) of Clarksburg, Maryland; eight grandchildren, Charletta L. Edmonds (Leon) and Candice M. Scott, both of Randolph, Jamilah A. Rouse, Fareedah Rouse, Najah Rouse and Rahman Rouse, all of Culpepper, Damani B. Scott (Olivia) of North Carolina and Madison V. Beckward of Clarksburg, Maryland; great-grandchildren Taurean Carter of Richmond, Mecca Carter of Halifax, Asia Ross (Rahquan) of Summerville, South Carolina, Richard Edmonds Jr. of Randolph, Eliana Rose of Culpepper; brother, Reverend Whitfield (Roosevelt) Scott, Jr.; and a host of other beloved nephews, nieces, family and friends.
