Charlie Lee Sydnor of Nathalie, peacefully departed this life at the age of 95 at South Boston Rehabilitation Center in South Boston, Virginia.

He was born on February 13, 1927 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late James Allen Sydnor and Mary Poindexter Sydnor.

He is survived by one daughter, Drucilla Sydnor Boddie of the home; two sons, Curtis Charles of Nathalie and Floyd Ricky, Sr. (Belinda), both of Nathalie; grandson, whom he helped raise, Kevin Alexander Boddie of Richmond; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
