Mr. Charlie Wilson Jennings, age 65 of Nathalie, passed away on March 11, 2023 in Nathalie. He was the son of the late Sanford Wilson Jennings and Effie Golden Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford and Effie Jennings; his wife, Queen Glendora Jennings; and one great grandchild, Ka'Mari Lamar Waller.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories two children, Charles Lamont Jennings of South Boston, VA, and Shavon Jennings King(Giles) of Halifax, VA; four step daughters, Ms. LaQuitta Barbour of South Boston, VA, Mrs. Tracey C. Garrett and Cassandra Fuller of Roanoke, VA, and Donna L. Garrett of Lynchburg, VA; one step son, Kawand T. Garrett (Robin) of Raleigh, NC; four grandson, Rahzell Bullock of South Boston, VA, Derrick Garrett of Roanoke, VA, Specialist Jacob Garrett (Brianna) of San Antonio, TX, and Carlin Fuller of Roanoke, VA; three granddaughters, Karissma Darden of South Boston, VA, Aniah Ledora Garrett of Roanoke, VA, and Chanda Porter, of Raeford, NC; seven great grandchildren; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David A. Dennis and Gearlene Dennis of Nathalie, VA; three nieces, Michelle Dennis Coles (Jerry) of South Boston, VA, Amelia Forest of Nathalie, and Jennifer Barbour of Nathalie, VA; two nephews, Derwin Dennis of Nathalie, VA, and Kerry Dennis of Lynchburg, VA; three great nephews; and two great-great nieces; his devoted caregivers, Ms. Alvina Boyd and Ms. Michelle Coles, god-children, Adrienne and Kaneisha Hamlette of Brookneal, VA and Caitlyn and Devin Hamlette of Virginia Beach, VA; a special and devoted friend, Ms. Emma Jones of Nathalie, VA and a host of dear and devoted cousins, relatives, and friends.
