Mr. Clarence William Elam, Jr., of Gastonia, North Carolina, age 60 died on December 9, 2019. He was born on January 22, 1959 to Mrs. Irma Ragland and the late Mr. Clarence William Elam, Sr.

He leaves to cherish precious memories, one daughter, Siddeeqah Armstrong of McDonough, GA; one son, Sydq William Elam of Lynchburg; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Irma Ragland of Lynchburg; one sister, Vedis E. Britton of Lynchburg; one brother, David A. Ragland (Rebecca) of Smyrna, GA; four uncles; four aunts; five nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
