Mr. Clarence Lee Gilliam, age 80 of Pamplin, passed away on December 21, 2021, in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Mr. Lee Gilliam and Ethel Puryear Gilliam.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Harvey Gilliam.

He is survived by five children, Vickie, ReNae, Clarence, Jr., Gary, and Nancy; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha Price of Brookneal; brother, Jerry Francis of Saxe; two daughters-in-law, Christy Gilliam, and Thelma Gilliam; one brother-in-law, Edward Robertson of Pamplin; very special friend, Carolyn Skates; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
