Mr. Clyde Algie Johnson, age 79 of Gladys, passed away on January 30, 2023 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Jim Henry Johnson and Bernice Octavia Bennett Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Gracie Johnson Martin, Mary Johnson Shelton, and Dorothy Johnson; two brothers, Willie Johnson and Lowell Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Maggie King Johnson of Gladys; his daughter, Loretta Tuck (Marvin) of Gladys; sisters, Margaret Tucker of Concord, Minnie Jones of Rustburg, and Peggy Love of Wilsons; brothers, Kenneth Johnson (Bessie) of Gladys and Mike Johnson of Rustburg; and a host of other relatives and friends.
