Mr. Cody Dewayne Ratliff, age 20 of Gladys, passed away on February 22, 2021 in Lynchburg. He was the son of Mr. Ralph Bennette Hogan, Jr. and Mrs. Kristy Leigh Ratliff.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ralph Bennette Hogan; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Fields; paternal great grandmother, Inez Hogan; paternal great grandfather, Isaiah Hogan; paternal great grandfather, Roger Viar.

He is survived by his father, Mr. Ralph Bennette Hogan, Jr. (Julie) of Gladys; his mother, Ms. Kristy Leigh Ratliff of Appomattox; his grandmother, Brenda Hogan; grandmother, Crystal Andrews; grandfather, David Ratliff; great grandmother, Ruby Viar; great great grandfather, Haven Fields, Sr.; sister, Kelsi Hogan; brother, Timothy Lenkewicz; two step-sisters, Hannah Wilson and Krysta Robinson; aunt, Brandy Mason; great aunt and uncle, Roberta and Danny Jennings; special friend, Jeremy Arrington; and numerous other, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
