Mr. Dan Landrum Dixon, 63, of Long Island, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Halifax County to the late Henry Stanford Dixon and Dorothy Mae Barksdale Dixon.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Winston Dixon and Van Dixon Sr.

He is survived by a devoted partner, Ida Payne of Long Island, Virginia; two daughters, Danielle Dixon Johnson (Kyle) of Severn, Maryland and Charmagne Dixon of Texas; one son, Jeffrey Dixon of Germantown, Maryland; three sisters, Zatella D. Conner (Orlando) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Zelda LeCoat of Long Island, Virginia, and Zelma D. Johnson (Kenneth) of Georgetown, Texas; two brothers,  Harrison A. Dixon (Sylvia) of Gloucester, Virginia, and Waverly Dixon of Long Island, Virginia; seven nieces and nephews, Katrina Dixon, Altrescia McKoy (David),  Ivan Dixon, Van Dixon Jr., Revetta Dixon, LaTia Morel (Devon), and Mark Dixon; aunt, Almeda Lee; and uncle, Franklin D. Dixon (Hilda); and many cousins, great nieces, great nephews and a host of friends.
