Daniel Eric Wilson "Danny" age 49 of Brookneal, passed away on July 28, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on April 18, 1974 in South Boston, Virginia to Johnny and Norma Wilson of Brookneal.  He was preceded in death by grandparents. John and Bobbie Wilson and Nelson and Lillian Page.

Danny was a friend to all he met. He had an infectious smile.  He worked with his father, at Wilson Electric for many years before going to work at Elliott Electric.  Danny volunteered his time for many years to the Brookneal Rescue Squad and spent a lot of time helping people in the community.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Laura Shepherd (Keith) and his niece, Morgan Shepherd; uncle, Tim Wilson (Kim) and aunt, Barbara Page; cousins, Kevin, Patrick, Kate, and Andrea Wilson, Becky Lloyd and Derek Page.
