Mr. Darryl Antwain Coles, age 39 of Lynchburg, passed away on May 23, 2022 in Charlottesville. He was the son of Mrs. Crystal Coles Hughes and Mr. Andre Hughes.

Darryl was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth Williams (Coles) Jackson, and Vernard Coles, Sr.; and Papa Norman Jackson; aunt, Vashti Pannell; uncles, Marc Logan, Curtis Dudley, and Roi Dudley.

Darryl leaves to cherish his memory his three daughters, (Daddy's princesses) Shakirah, Saniyah and Shaniece; his life partner of 18 years, Crystal Proctor of Lynchburg, Virginia; his parents, Andre Hughes and Crystal Coles-Hughes; his brothers, Bryan Coles (Ebony) and Korey Coles, both of Lynchburg, Virginia; sisters, Rasheeda Hughes of Maryland and Brittany Hughes of North Carolina; brothers, Andre Hughes Jr., and Timothy Hughes (Ashley) both of North Carolina; grandmother, Maxine Hughes of Maryland; aunts, Charmaigne Elam (Robert) of Brookneal, Lovetta Davis of Lynchburg, Yarnetta Sellers (Wellyn) of Bedford, Deidre Hughes of Washington DC, and Lora Dudley of Alexandria Virginia; uncle, Vernard Coles (Maria) Brandywine, Maryland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
