Mr. David Wayne Davis, age 62 of Phenix, died on September 16th at his residence. He was the son of the late Mr. William Junior Davis and Mrs. Mary Alice St. John Davis.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Freddy, Bobby, and Harold Davis.

He is survived by five children, Billy Wayne Davis, Sr. (Kalani), Mary Elizabeth Day, Alice Hutton, all of Madison Heights,  Jennifer Ponton, and Ashley Davis of Tennessee; sixteen grandchildren; two brothers, G. W. Davis of Keysville, and Johnny Davis of Dillwyn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
