Davondo R. Jones, age 35 of Hopewell, passed away on January 14, 2026 in Hopewell. He was the son of David Waddell and the late Josephine Jones.

He was preceded in death his mother, Josephine Jones; sister, Itesha Jones; grandparents, Betty Jones and Joe Jones; three loving cousins, Jermaine Jones and JaQuan Jones and Quashay Jones.

He is survived by his loving aunts and uncles, Barbara (James) of Brookneal, Frances Mitchell (Roy) of Prospect, Lois Parham (Berwin) of Prince George, VA, Tawanda Cole (Timmy) of Petersburg, VA, Vicki Coles (James) of Hopewell, VA, Ethel Styles of Prince George, VA, Lois Coles of Florida, and Cheryl Palmer of Halifax; uncles, Marcus Oliver (Carylon) of Lynchburg and Gregory Coles of Prospect; devoted aunt, Mary Wright of Lynchburg and Mable Hayes of Washington, DC; devoted cousins, Myesha Jones, Quanika Broggin, Tony Pollard, Tiara Pollard, LaKisha Pollard, and  Latoya Durham; three devoted friends, Cre'Asia Ligon, Yukneek Ligon, and Joshua Noell; and a host of cousins and devoted little cousin, Jah'Quan Jones.
