Dennis Wayne Hunt, 61 of Rustburg, passed away at his residence, on September 15, 2025. Dennis was born on July 29, 1964, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, to Claude and Vivian Hunt.

He was preceded in death by his father, Claude I. Hunt, his mother, Vivian C. Hunt; and his brother, Robert B. Hunt.

He is survived by his son, Seth Hunt; daughter, Cecilia McBratney (William); granddaughter, Eleanor McBratney; brother, Steven Hunt (Lisa); sister, Deborah Hunt and daughter, Rhiannon; several nieces, nephews, relative and friends.

The family is especially grateful to his sister, Debby, for her support and companionship during his final days. You are appreciated beyond measure.

In accordance with his wishes, no official services will be held.

Dennis will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. Rest easy, Sunshine.
