Ms. Diane Daniel Griffin Dodd, age 63, of Brookneal, died at her residence on Saturday, January 6, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Leslie Glen Daniel and Mrs. Marjorie Scott Daniel.

Diane was a graduate of William Campbell High School and attended Central Virginia Community College. She was employed by Region 2000 as a Recycling Program Manager. While working for Campbell County and Region 2000, Diane made many friends in Campbell and surrounding areas.

She is survived by her fiance', Randy Wade; her son, James Griffin (Kelly); her daughter, Lesley Dodd; one grandson, Aaron Maddox; one brother, Leslie Daniel (Cheryl), all of Brookneal; her nephews, Tony Puckett and Adam Daniel; multiple four legged companions; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Falling River Baptist Church in Brookneal. The family will receive friends following the service.
