Mr. Eddie Marcellus Chambers, age 50 of Altavista, passed away on May 7, 2021 in Gretna. He was the son of Eddie Wayne Chambers and Darlen Waller Neal.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Pastor William Neal; both grandfathers, Chris Waller and Haywood L. Chambers; grandmother, Anna Chambers; nephew, Da'Shari Chambers; six uncles, Charlie Wayne Waller, Harry, Henry, Curtis and Obie Chambers, and Alexander Grasty; two aunts, Mabel Grattis and Odell Reed.

Marc is survived by his wife, Denise Chambers (his Nise) of Altavista; three daughters, Ciera Carr, Chanavia Chambers and Camari Chambers, whom he loved with every meaning of his life; his mother, Darlene W. Neal of Long Island; one brother, Lavell Chambers of North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Frances Carr of Nathalie; maternal grandmother, Estelle Waller; paternal grandmother-in-law, Ollie Chambers; six uncles, Howard Waller (Joyce) of Long Island, Thurman Waller (Doreen) of Pennsylvania, Theodore Waller (Frances) of Hurt, Ray Chambers of Richmond, Wade Chambers of Salisbury, MD, and Roger Poindexter of Halifax; ten aunts, Patsy W. Clark, Pearlie Grasty, Sandra Tucker (Roger) all of Long Island, Arlene White (Harvey) of Danville, Shirley Chambers of Greensboro NC, Latesha Chambers of Halifax, Lorretta Perkins (Frank) of Pennsylvania, Shelia Jennings of Lynchburg, Theresa Groce of Philadelphia, and Veronica Wimbush (Shawn) of Roanoke, and a devoted aunt, Glenwwod C. Payne, whom he resided with;  three nephews, Da'Mari-Yon Chambers of Brookneal, Quincy Carr of Madison Heights, and Tyshon Payne of Altavista; one niece, Quanesha Boone of Woodbridge; and a host of many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
