Edith Poole Bomar, age 73 of Nathalie, passed away on August 31, 2025 in Lynchburg.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. Francis Greer Poole and Mrs. Nellie Mae Bohannan Poole Hazelwood.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittney Paige Massie.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Bomar of the home; daughters, Mitsy Roller (Boone) of South Boston, Melony Elliott (Daniel) of Nathalie; stepson, Marshall Bomar (Renee) of Greensboro, NC; grandson, Lucas Thibodeau and great grandson, Abel Thibodeau of Bedford; sister, Linda Poole of Norfolk; brother, Terry Hazelwood of Victoria; and a host of special friends, family, and loving caregivers, Dale Scott and Angela King.
