Ms. Edith Frances Stitt, age 91 of Charlotte Court House, passed away on November 4, 2022 in Keysville. She was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Stitt, Sr. and Edith Byrd Stitt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six siblings, Grover Cleveland Jr., James, Rosetta, Clarence, Mary,  and Alphonso.

She leaves to mourn her loss, nephews, Grover Cleveland III (Zandra), George Wayne Carrington (Wanda), Clarence Coolidge Stitt, Jr.; niece, Shirley Marie Stitt; great nieces, Shani S. Banks, Elizabeth Carrington Manson (Chauncey IV), and Victoria Carrington; great-great nephew, Chauncey Manson V; great-great niece, Sienna Banks; cousin, Curtis Morton; devoted god daughter, Nan Lambert;, friend, Ida Spencer; and a host friends and relatives.
