Mrs. Elizabeth Colley Dillard, age 97 of Lynchburg, passed away on February 11, 2020 in Lynchburg.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. Phillip Hubbard and Mrs. Libby Patrick Hubbard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Thornton Randolph Dillard; two daughters, Gracie Dillard and Emma Stalks; a sister, Fannie Mason; and brothers, Early, Jimmy, Peter, Bill, Woodson, Charles, Wiley, Lee, Skinner, and Dudley Hubbard; granddaughters, Gracie Dillard, Nicole Dillard, and Katrice Marshall; a great grandson, Vernon Alexander, Sr.; a grandson, Curtis Dillard; and a special uncle, Joe Hubbard, known as "Cousin Joe".

She is survived by two sons, Charles E. Dillard and Curlie R. Dillard (Patricia); five daughters, Vivian Marshall and  Linda Price of Gladys, Brenda Shearer (Michael) and Mary Wright, all of Lynchburg and Rev. Janet Garland of Newark, NJ; a very devoted great grandson and care-giver, Charles Dillard "Chuckie" of the residence; one sister, Mrs. Alice Williams of Hyattsville, MD;  numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
