Mrs. Elizabeth Ward Poe, age 92 of Gladys, passed away on May 12, 2021 in Brookneal.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. William Ward and Mrs. Jessie Mae Graves Ward.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Buster Poe, Sr.; her children, Sylvia Poe, Emily Poe, Buster Poe, Jr., and Wayne Poe.

She is survived by her children, Virginia Burns (Winston) of Gladys and Vernon Ray Poe of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Kendra Yuille (Tyrone), Winston Burns (Twila), Alfonza Poe (Tyfonda), Edward Poe (Gwen), Kizzy Brown (Wade), Charlene Yuille, Darlene Yuille, Sterling Yuille, Bronzel Poe (Janae) and Monica Poe; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives.
