Mrs. Emma Jean Henry, age 83 of Washington, DC, passed away on May 3, 2021 in Washington, DC. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Alonzo A. Jones and Mrs. Katherine L. Barbour.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kelvin Donnell Henry.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband of sixty-seven years, Mr. Shirley F. Henry of Clinton, MD; two granddaughters, Jasmine and Briauna Henry of Bowie, MD; two great grandchildren, Jacyl and Shai; three sisters, Catherine Dunkley of Nathalie, Annie Barksdale (Rev. Kevin) of Danville, and Margaret Pounds ( Rev. Jasper) of South Boston; three brothers, Douglas Jones of Roxboro, NC, Robert Jones and Jessie Jones of Halifax; brother-in-law, Johnny Henry of Danville; sister-in-law, Virginia Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
