Emma Jean Lipsey, age 87 of Keysville, passed away on December 29, 2025 in Keysville, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Hanford  Pannell and Emma Ailene Haley Pannell. She was married to Rev. Henry Lipsey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Elbert Jr., Anthony and Donald; and grandson, Darius; three siblings, Mary Owens, Frances Pannell and Fred Pannell.

Emma Jean Pannell Lipsey is remembered and loved by her daughters, Carolyn Ford, Rita Ford of Detroit, Michigan, Donna Moore (Steven) of Thornton, Colorado; one sister, Carolyn Dawson (Isiah) of Chicago, Illinois; sister-in-law, Sandra Harris of Atlanta, Georgia; one daughter-in-law, Gloria Dunnigan of Chicago, Illinois; twelve grandchildren, Tracy, Troyquia, Michael, Terry, Tony, Elbert, Tanya, Tiera, Tabitha, Tasheka, Stephanie, and Steven; and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
