Eric Mandel Jennings, age 55 of Nathalie, passed away on April 28,. 2026 in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was the son of Barbara Jean Garner Jennings and the late James Orange Jennings.

Eric was preceded in death by his father, James Orange Jennings.

He is survived by his children, Christopher Jennings of Richmond, Virginia, Joshua Jennings and Kyree Jennings, both of Appomattox, and Jasmine Gilbert of Lynchburg, whom he raised as his own; eight grandchildren; his mother, Barbara Jean Garner Jennings and step-father, Johnny Allen Jennings of Nathalie; brother, James K. Jennings (Shale) of Bonair, Georgia; aunts, Emma Davis of Maryland, Lillian Espinosa, Cornelia Jennings, Sylvia Garner and Wanda Brown, all of Nathalie, Virginia and Pauline Foster of Richmond, Virginia; uncles, Mitchell Jennings (Yvonne), Roderick Jennings and Elvin Jennings (Sharon), all of Nathalie; and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
