Erica Sharell Burden, age 47, passed away on March 27, 2023 in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Ray Malona Lockett and Melinda Hamlett Clark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maria Lockett; uncle, Jimmy Lockett; and aunt, Magelene Lockett.

She is survived by her son, Brian O'Neal Jennings, Jr. of Connecticut; daughter, Shaquaria Jennings of Altavista; sisters, Linda Lockett of Lynchburg, and Renee Hamlett of Richmond; brother, James Hamlett of Houston, TX; grandparents, Barbara Henry and Johnnie Henry of Danville; three aunts, Mary Baker of Appomattox, Carrie Lockett of Altavista, and Carol Henry of Danville; one uncle, Richard Hamlett of Clover; and a host of cousins and other relatives.
