Estelle Irene Walton, age 90 of Meherrin, passed away on December 2, 2025 in Meherrin. She was the daughter of the late Gene Watson and Beatrice Watson.

In addition to her parents. she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Edward Walton; daughter, Iris Walton Miller; sisters, Adele Walton and Zena Walton; and her brother, James Walton.

She is survived by her sons, Elvis A. Walton (Donna) of Meherrin, VA, and Sidney Walton of Drakes Branch; and Theresa Watson of Abilene, VA, whom she raised as her a daughter; fourteen grandchildren, Sherrie Miller, Marcus Miller, Dennis Terry, Anthony, Tanyka, and Malya Walton, Yogi and Marquis Peaks, Tyechia, Consetta, and Sharilyn Walton, David, Dajuan, and DaQuan Watson; and a host of great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Freddie Troxler; sisters-in-law, Zella Luster, Sherron Walton, Sarah and Aaron Edmendson, and Martha Walton; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
