Mr. Eugene Pannell, age 73 of Red House passed away on July 2, 2020 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Deacon Junior and Deaconess Louise Pannell.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Calvin and Benny Pannell.

He leaves to cherish his love and memories, his devoted wife, Nannie "Mary" of the residence, three daughters, Adream Davis (William) of Appomattox, VA, Saundra Pannell of Lynchburg, VA, and Imogene Pannell of Red House, VA; seven grandchildren, Kell, Kewon, Emmanuel, Jihanna, Tamari, Tristan, and Mi'Angel; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Fannie Pannell, one brother, James Pannell (Nadine) both of Red House, VA; his mother-in-law, Mary Stone of Danville, VA; sisters-in-law, Delma Canada, Rosa Royal (James), Sharon Brown, Mary Pannell, Margaret Pannell, and Linda Law; brothers-in-law, Roosevelt Stone, Jr. (Debra), Paul Stone (Gloria), Ricky Stone (Hazel), Lewis White (Nichole), David Mayo, Curtis Stone, Brian Mayo, Tyrone Robinson (Joyce), and Anthony Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eugene also had three special friends who always checked on him, Wayne Venable, Richard Hamlette and Henry Bolden.
