Evelyn Lucinda (West) Womble, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 13, 2025 in Baltimore County, MD. She was born on April 28, 1932, in Nathalie, Va., Halifax County.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Elliott M. Womble; two daughters, Evette M. Womble Lesesne (Darryl) and Evonne M. Womble Harris (Donell); nine grandchildren, Shanelle, Eric, Tiffany, Christopher, Shantelle, Cherise, Jasmine, Jirard and Shawn; eleven great-grandchildren: Eric, Ryane, Elisa, Madison, Sascha, Maximus, Sierra, Elaina, Cataleya, Zora and Cairo; one sister in-law, Ruth West; two special daughters, Angela Faltz and Phyllis Womble, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, a homegoing service for Evelyn Womble will be held at the Vaughn Greene Chapel at Randallstown, 8728 Liberty Road, in Randallstown, Maryland, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with services to follow.

The interment service will be held at the West Family Cemetery, 6134 Clarkton Road, in Nathalie, Virginia, on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 1:00 p.m.
