Frank Linwood Elam, age 78 of Brookneal, passed away on July 10,2025 at Carilion Roanoke Hospital in Roanoke. He was the son of the late Robert Elam and Ruby Hamlett Elam.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Diane Elam;  brothers, Floyd Elam, Edward Elam, Clarence Elam, Luchildress Elam, and Larry Elam; and sister, Francis Palmer.

He is survived by his son, Tyrone Evans; sisters, Helen Price and Joyce Evans of Brookneal; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
