Mr. George Eddie Barksdale, "Ballie" age 71 of Lynchburg, died on November 7, 2018 in Lynchburg. He was the son of the late Annie Barksdale Chaney.

He is survived by two brothers, David J. Barksdale of South Boston and Gregory M. Llewellyn (Jackie) of Lynchburg; three sisters, Cornelia Jones (Cornell) of Halifax, Annie B. Edmonds of South Boston, and Patty L. Barksdale of South Boston; five aunts, Rosa Lee Womack of Halifax, Isabel B. Williams of South Boston, Lucille A. Barksdale of Bridgeport, CT, Lizzie B. Barksdale of South Boston; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
