Mr. George Alexander Hargrove, age 84, of Brookneal, passed away on May 23, 2022 in Brookneal.  He was the son of the late Clarence A. Hargrove and Geneva Cousins Hargrove.

In addition to his parents,  he was predeceased by his wife, Florence Hargrove and daughter, Retha Renee Stallings.

He is survived by: his children, Shirley Borden (Clifford) of Philadelphia, PA, Georgette Bradshaw (Jermaine) of Roselle, NJ, Renee Harvey (TJ)of Lynchburg, VA, Elliott A Hargrove (Cynthia)of Farmington Hills, MI, Grayling Clark of Brookneal, VA, Toni Clark of Brookneal, VA; a sister, Mary Bell (Bushrod) of Montclair, NJ; grandchildren, Thomas Stallings, Taryn "Shug" Stallings, Marlene Hargrove, Michael Hargrove, Clifford Borden, Brandon Thomas, Brian Thomas, Savon Weeks, Tylee Bradshaw, Teyah Bradshaw, De`Ante Harvey and Elle Hargrove; great-grandchildren, Kahia Hammond, Alaya Borden, Tybree Stallings, Xianni Stallings, Katie Stallings, Jada Thomas, Brian A.
