Gerald Wayne "Jerry" Breeding, Jr., age 59, was born May 22, 1964, to Dorothy and Gerald Breeding, Sr. He went home to his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, October 8, 2023.

Family who will cherish his memory include his mother and step-father, Dorothy and Johns Bailey, his brother, Michael Breeding (Gary), sister, Jennifer Bailey-Tackett (Jacob),  his niece and nephew, Taylor and Noah Breeding. The lights of his life were his daughters Nikki Hughes (Jason) and Rikki Cheatham (Nick), grandchildren Kailey and Indie Cheatham, and Kimble and Abel Hughes.

His beloved father, Gerald Breeding, Sr., preceded him in death.

Jerry served in the United States Army 1985-1986. He owned his HVAC business in Powhatan for decades. He always enjoyed time spent on a beach, dropping a fishing line, and having a delicious meal or a good cup of coffee.

Celebration of his life will be held at Red Lane Baptist Church, Powhatan, Virginia, on Friday, October 20th, 11:00 a.m. Jerry's friend and pastor, Bryan Pope, will provide the Eulogy. Dr. James Taylor, pastor of Red Lane Baptist Church, will provide scriptures and prayer.
