Geraldine E. (Younger) Miller, 94, was born January 28, 1927, in Gladys, Virginia.  She was the beloved daughter of the late Robert A.  and Charity (Burks) Younger. Geraldine said her farewell on June 29, 2021 at Jefferson Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph C. Miller, Sr., brothers, James, Ray, Rufus, and Rollen Younger; sisters, Jessie Callahan, Onnie Poe, and Doris Adams.

Geraldine graduated high school and relocated to Pennsylvania in her twenties.  She  worked as a Housekeeper for many years. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them . Everyone loved her homemade cakes, she was a master at baking. She also enjoyed going to the flea markets and goodwill; there wasn't a bargain she couldn't find.

She was a faithful member of Gethsemane Church of God In Christ.  She served on the Pastor's Aide, Usher Board,  and Kitchen Committee..

Geraldine  is survived by her four daughters, Odessa (Ivory) Ellis of Clairton, PA, Shirley Miller of McKeesport, PA, Jennifer (Morris) Webb of Clairton, PA, Tammy (Leonardo) Blue of West Mifflin, PA; son, Joseph (Raquel) Miller of Washington, DC; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Horace Younger (Loretta) of Naruna, VA, Carroll Younger of Naruna, VA; two sisters, Helen Payne of Naruna, VA, Bernice (Ralph) Adams of Glady, VA;; goddaughter, Melony (Lance) Hollis of Atlanta, GA; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
